Soms lijkt een signaal zo duidelijk dat je de koers al ziet stijgen. Munten verdwijnen van de beurzen, dus beleggers willen blijkbaar niet verkopen. Toch staat de koers van Chainlink nu flink onder druk. Hoe kan dat?<\/p>

Al 18 dagen op rij vloeien LINK-tokens weg van Binance. Tegelijk heeft de munt in oktober tot nu toe 20,8 procent van zijn waarde verloren. Die twee dingen lijken met elkaar in strijd. Kijk je beter, dan wordt het verhaal een stuk minder eenvoudig.<\/p>

Wat is Chainlink eigenlijk?<\/h2>

Chainlink is een netwerk dat informatie van buitenaf, zoals actuele prijzen, naar blockchains brengt. Zo kunnen slimme contracten, programma’s die automatisch iets uitvoeren, op betrouwbare gegevens uit de echte wereld reageren. LINK is de munt die dat netwerk draaiende houdt.<\/p>

Waarom uitstroom meestal als goed nieuws geldt<\/h2>

Op een beurs staan munten klaar om verkocht te worden. Je kunt het zien als de etalage van een winkel: alles wat daar ligt, kan elk moment van eigenaar wisselen. Halen mensen hun munten weg naar een eigen wallet, dan wordt die etalage leger.<\/p>

Minder aanbod op de beurs betekent in theorie minder verkoopdruk. Daarom juichen optimisten vaak als ze een lange reeks uitstroom zien. Het suggereert dat houders hun munten voorlopig willen bewaren in plaats van ze te dumpen.<\/p>

Een grote storting vooraf verandert het beeld<\/h2>

Bij Chainlink zit er een addertje onder het gras. Vlak voor de reeks uitstroom kwam er juist een grote storting van LINK binnen op Binance. Een deel van wat nu wegloopt, kan dus gewoon die eerdere instroom zijn die weer vertrekt. Dat maakt de uitstroom minder feestelijk dan hij op het eerste gezicht lijkt, zo blijkt uit een analyse van de beursstromen<\/a>.<\/p>

Vergelijk het met een volle parkeergarage die langzaam leegloopt. Dat lijkt rustig, tot je beseft dat er die ochtend net een hele busvol auto’s naar binnen reed. Dan zegt het vertrek van die auto’s weinig over de gewone drukte.<\/p>

Waarom de koers niet meedoet<\/h2>

Een koers wordt niet bepaald door \u00e9\u00e9n cijfer. Ook als er munten van een beurs verdwijnen, kan de vraag elders tegenvallen. Kopers moeten echt bereid zijn een hogere prijs te betalen, en die bereidheid ontbreekt deze maand duidelijk. Het is ook goed om te weten dat uitstroom van \u00e9\u00e9n beurs niet automatisch betekent dat munten in de kluis gaan. Tokens kunnen naar een andere beurs verhuizen, naar een bewaarpartij of naar een DeFi-toepassing. Waar ze precies terechtkomen, bepaalt hoeveel het signaal echt waard is.<\/p>

De rol van Amerikaanse beleggers<\/h2>

In de Verenigde Staten kunnen beleggers inmiddels via spot-ETF’s in Chainlink stappen. Dat zijn beursgenoteerde fondsen die de munt echt aanhouden. Die kopers worden nauwlettend gevolgd, want hun vraag kan op termijn meer gewicht in de schaal leggen dan de stromen op \u00e9\u00e9n beurs.<\/p>

Voor nu blijft het een spanningsveld. De beursdata zien er op papier gunstig uit, maar de koers vertelt een ander verhaal. Natuurlijk kan het ook verder dalen.
